Display of Affection

I focused on making jewelry that involves two people's gestures. Using the jewelry once again as a social tool, I wanted the jewelry to provide a comfort level/excuse to make intimate gesture between two people. The third project developed into the first set. The idea of using the outline between the two people transformed into thin sheet metal pieces with implied negative hand shapes. Metal, at first, feels cold to the touch, then warms as body heats the metal. The pieces between two peoples' skin allow them to make gestures without direct skin contact.
